Christmas 2021

This year for Christmas I was inspired by Norman Rockwell’s “Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas". I decided to recreate the piece entirely out of basswood, clay, and a painted backdrop by yours truly. Placed on top of two dozen custom made basswood drawers (with the 25th drawer located behind the piece), my Christmas 2021 gift has been my largest advent calendar to date.

Materials used in this piece: basswood, polymer clay, acrylic paint, embroidery thread, wire, bells, lights, dried foliage, wood glue, and caulk.
